Hands down, the best place to stay on the Gold Coast is on the Broadwater – Surfers Paradise is on your doorstep, but you still get to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Broadwater, the sun rising over The Spit and South Stradbroke, cute and quirky cafes are nearby and the Marina is just across the water. Plus, you’re minutes from the highway, which makes getting to the theme parks, the hinterland or heading down south for some of the quieter beaches a breeze. Plus you’ve got some incredible fishing opportunities at your doorstep and if you happen to be in town for Bleach Festival – a majority of those events are held in Surfers Paradise, which is right next door!
Valentines Day For the couples (or if you just want to spoil yourself) it’s never too early to start planning a romantic Valentines Day getaway (February 14th for those who may forget). Book for 3 nights or more in a one bedroom apartment and receive a bottle of wine and box of chocolates, must be for February stays only and you must quote this offer at the time of booking to receive this deal The Broadwater is one of the most romantic spots on the Gold Coast. Go for a twilight stroll around the Broadwater, watching the boats, twinkling lights and the sunset. Finish up with a delectable dinner at one of the many dining options at Marina Mirage – most of them are back over the water and marina – it’s truly spectacular.
Fishing For the more adventurous at heart, and those who love to fish – the Broadwater is the best place to drop a line. Whether you want to cast a line from one of the local beaches, fish from the rock walls on the Spit or want to hire a small boat to cruise the islands and inlets and try your luck there – it’s the perfect spot.
Alternatively, there are a number of deep sea fishing charters that leave from the nearby marina. With an abundance of fish in the offshore waters, and a huge variety of species it’s a must do activity for your next Gold Coast trip. Most of the charters will even let you keep what you catch (some will even be gutted and cleaned for you!). Some offer all day adventures, which will add a whole lot of excitement and fun to your holiday. Plus, if you’re lucky – you might even spot some other marine wildlife such as dolphins, whales and turtles on your way out to sea! It doesn’t matter whether it’s your first time fishing, or you’re a seasoned angler – this is an experience you don’t want to miss out on. Be sure to call us, or check in with reception before you book as we often have specials on offer for our guests! Bleach Festival One of the best events the Gold Coast has to offer is the Bleach* Festival held on the 31st of March until the 16th of April.
